BIOGRAPHY
Cindy M. Aguirre is a former Associate Judge of the 505th District Court, Fort Bend County, Texas.
Before joining the bench in 2016, Mrs. Aguirre worked as an attorney in private practice for 15 years.
Mrs. Aguirre earned a Bachelor of Arts in French with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Houston in 1997. In 2000, Mrs. Aguirre completed a Juris Doctorate at the University of Houston Law Center. In addition to being licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, Mrs. Aguirre is also licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
Mrs. Aguirre is originally from Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish, English and French. She is married to Dr. Alejandro Aguirre, DVM and owner of Fort Bend Animal Hospital in Rosenberg, Texas. The Aguirres have three children, Isabela who is finishing a Master’s degree in Accounting at Texas A&M University, Jesus who is wrapping up his Animal Science degree at Texas Tech University and will be attending Veterinary School, and Alejandro who is an attorney and currently works for an immigration law firm in Denver, Colorado.
